Before we leave Munich in order to meet the Bothe part of the family in Bensheim for Christmas we're planning on teaching Karl some ingenious skills so that he can compete with his cousin Max-Laurin who is currently about twice his age. By now Karl is able to grab his rattle and sing three different Christmas carols.

You could teach him Kling-Glöckchen so he could perform together with Thora ...
Okay, we'll work on that.
One shouldn't forget though, that he can also accompany half of the Beatles catalogue with his rattle in time. So to learn the other half, he's already rather busy. We don't want to come across as too ambitious.
hm. max still tries hard with the Christmas carols. but he actually is quite good at Mahler-symphonies. Condensed, though.
Mahler, huh? Well, Max does come from a long line of 'Kluge Kerlchen'. In the spirit of sportsmanship we're now teaching Karl the first four books of the Iliad to recite for grandma and grandpa at Christmas.
