Got back to Germany this morning after five great days in New York, during which I got to see (in alphabetical order) the young and youngest New Yorkers Ben, Bruno, Jacob, Jasper, Julia, Leo, Max, Oliver and Zac. But after a week of having spread our small family unit over three metropolitan areas it feels good to start the reunification process, i.e. I'm at Karl's Omi's house,
from where we'll start our journey to Munich tomorrow morning. Not that Karl has missed us. He obviously had a great time, going to parties and the way he knew his way around the Bensheim holiday fair makes me think that he sure wasted quite a bit of Omi's finances on frilly entertainment. Kinda irresistible though to see him either in awe or in complete excitement amongst all those flickering lights. Who wouldn't wanna spend his last money on another three rounds of carousel?
