Home Sweet Home (NOT!)

Yesterday I picked up Karl from the daycare center with a little fever so I let him stay at home today even though the fever was gone this morning. At first I thought it would be a treat for him to stay here with his mom. But I thought wrong. He was bored out of his mind and only by standing in front of a large construction site for 30 minutes, spending some time at one of his favorite playgrounds staring at older kids and by eating a bowl of pancake soup at the market his foul mood could be changed for the better.
